Body Butter Freshness Reminder
A little story time—because we believe in keeping it real over here.
Not too long ago, a customer (no names, of course) reached out frustrated that one of our body butters had “gone bad.” Naturally, we took it seriously and looked into their order. Turns out—they bought it a whole year ago.
A year.
Now, I’m not here to scold anyone. But we make our butters with zero preservatives or synthetic stabilizers. That’s the point. We want our community to use truly fresh, plant-based ingredients on their skin. Just like you wouldn’t keep a fresh avocado on your shelf for a year and expect it to still be good, our whipped shea butter needs to be used within 3 months for best results.
We craft every batch in small quantities so that what you receive hasn’t been sitting in a warehouse for months. That’s our model—fresh, intentional skincare. No fluff, no filler.
And now, with summer around the corner, we’re slowing down body butter production. Shea doesn’t play well in the heat—it melts, it leaks, it gets messy during transit. So, to avoid waste and disappointment, we pause making butters when it’s hot out and resume in the cooler months.
Which brings us here: we're offering a special price on our current body butter batches for a limited time. This is your chance to stock up on what your skin’s been loving before summer hits and we temporarily say goodbye to the whip.
Store it somewhere cool, use it often, and enjoy the nourishment. We’re here for the long game—intention over impulse, always.
